1. Snag Free Pictures with Santa
To snag some studio-quality photos with Santa (for free!), head to the Kingwood Community Center from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on December 15th.
When: December 15, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

2. Have Breakfast with Santa at Landry’s
Everybody knows Santa loves milk and cookies, but this is your chance to see how he starts the day! This festive holiday buffet at Landry’s Seafood Restaurant will include plenty of tasty food (think: omelet, waffle & ham carving stations), fun activities, goodie bags for kids, as well as the chance to make some merry memories with Santa. This event is reservation only, so call to save your seats!
When: December 15-16, 8:00-10:00 AM

3. Embark on a Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt

Take the whole family out to a Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt for some late-night fun and adventure! Besides a festive hunt for candy canes, this event will feature hot cocoa and cookies, as well as a photo op with Santa himself. Everyone ages 5 and up are welcome. Pre-registration is required, so be sure to call (281)516-7348 or (281)210-3950 to secure a spot in advance.
When: December 14-15, 20, & 22 at 5:30 PM

4. Join Mrs. Claus for a Gingerbread House Workshop
You aren’t the only one who makes snacks for Santa! Come join Mrs. Claus at The Woodlands Children’s Museum and see how Santa snacks the other 364 days of the year with this Gingerbread House Workshop. The cost $5 in addition to the cost of admission.
When: December 21-22, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

5. Celebrate a Critter’s Christmas
Even the critters deserve to have a Merry Christmas! This holiday in Kingwood, the whole family is invited to “Critter’s Christmas,” an afternoon of educational fun. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to make fun festive treats for the local critters to eat!

6. Enjoy Choral Classics

Listen to traditional holiday tunes sung by a choir! Texas Master Chorale is presenting a Christmas concert featuring traditional Christmas classics on December 15th.

7. Celebrate “A Very Caring Christmas” For the Troops
Tomball knows the holidays are a great time to give back, so they’re throwing “A Very Caring Christmas Party” in honor of our deployed service men and women. Your event ticket includes a plate of barbecue, a $20 gift exchange, an ugly sweater contest, a raffle drawing, and live entertainment by Nigel Edison.

8. Eat Your Heart Out at a Christmas Food Truck Festival
Craving food truck fare? Eat your fill at the Holly Jolly Food Truck Festival. Besides incredible food, the event will include pictures with Santa, live music, Nutcracker Market vendors, and more.

9. Admire Christmas Lights (Party Bus Style!)

Why drive around and look at Christmas lights in your own car when you could do the same thing in a party bus? Join Actin’ A Donkey Party Bus for a fabulous tour of some of the best lights in Texas. The North Houston Tour will feature 10 Attractions, from Old Town Spring to Panther Creek in the Woodlands.

10. Try Out to Be One of Santa’s Elves
Think you have what it takes to be one of Santa’s helpers? Can you race around treehouses and tipis? Head to Elf Tryouts to compete against other “potential elves” in holiday games and activities! There will be a North Pole celebration with cookies and cocoa to welcome the newest elves onto Santa’s team.

11. Attend Home for The Holidays in Old Town Spring
A classic Spring tradition “Home for the Holidays” is festive fun for the whole family. Every weekend in December, Old Town Spring will offer activities for the whole family, from free carriage rides to choir entertainments, dance performances, a petting zoo, and so much more.

12. Shop & SIp at Springwoods Village

Springwoods Village is having a holiday party and open house this holiday season, and you won’t want to miss it. Enjoy festive food and beverage sampling, holiday music, balloon art, face painting, costumed characters, holiday crafts, and more!

13. Feast at a Candied Christmas Market
Indulge your sweet tooth at the Candied Christmas Market! Besides treats galore (from chocolate to taffy), this market will also include plenty of other vendors, including an onsite antique and resale store, bath products, hand-painted signs, textiles, a pumpkin patch, and more.

14. Sway to an Inspiring Christmas Musical Performance
Offering a unique take on Christmas music, the First Methodist Chancel Choir and Bluegrass Band will be putting on a concert based on American folk songs, spirituals, bluegrass-styled carols, and original gospel songs (along with a folky interpretation of the Christmas story!).

15. See “Christmas Comes to the Movies”
The Woodlands Chorale is a community chorus that has been providing high-quality choral music for The Woodlands area for almost ten years. On December 15th, the group will present “Christmas Comes to the Movies!” Advance ticket prices are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students. Tickets will also be available for $20.00 at the door. Children ages 6 and under will be admitted for free!

16. Dress Up Your Dog
Bring your flannel-clad pet out to Bear Branch Dog Park for a fun holiday pooch pageant! Enjoy sipping hot cocoa while your pets socialize. Feliz Navi-Dog will award the winners of six categories: best behaved, best trick, smallest, largest, and best costume.

17. Attend a New Year’s Eve Masquerade

How will you celebrate NYE? The Westin in The Woodlands is going all out with a masquerade party for the grown-ups, complete a chance to win a free stay at the Westin hotel! This Italian Carnivale Masquerade will feature a DJ, photo booths, food stations, and a champagne toast at midnight.

18. Bop to a Christmas Jazz Extravaganza
Jazz fans will gather at Central Garden Missionary Baptist Church on December 16th for a fabulous performance: “A Celebration of The Reason for the Season with the Sounds of Jazz.”
Featuring an all-star lineup from the jazz greats, this concert is sure to be a hit.
